A site must meet these criteria to qualify as universitywide:
- Its operations encompass all 3 regional campuses—and it does not have separate sites for the separate campuses. (For example, while “Public Safety” clearly applies equally to the entire Rutgers community on all 3 campuses, each campus has its own separate Public Safety site; so it is not considered to be a universitywide site.)
- Its academic or administrative mission is “non-campus specific,” applying to the entire Rutgers University community (e.g., “University President” or “Rutgers University Libraries” ).
- It is a site that offers general information relevant
to:
Rutgers history (for example, “Rutgers Timeline” )
Services for the Rutgers community at large (e.g., “University Human Resources” or “Financial/Student Aid” )
Technical issues at a universitywide level (e.g., “Administrative Computing Services” )
